Jed R. Norman, DDS
My name is Jed Norman and I love being a dentist. My work ethic began at age three, picking peaches on our family farm. By age six I was driving a tractor and spent my teenage years helping my father manage the farm. At age nineteen I served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chile.
I developed a great love for the Chilean people and became fluent in Spanish. After my mission, I worked on our family dairy farm for ten years. During that time I had a mentor who saw my potential and inspired me to go to college. As a husband with four young children, I began my college career while working on the farm. I graduated from Idaho State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. I continued my graduate studies at Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2004. I began practicing dentistry as an associate dentist for two years in Rupert, Idaho. In 2006, I purchased my first dental practice in Roseburg, Jed R. Norman D.D.S. I expanded my practice by purchasing Glide Dental in 2013. I have been a leader for the Boy Scouts of America for the past six years and am active in church and community service. I love the outdoors and my passions are cycling, hiking, running, fishing, camping, and hunting. My biggest passion is my four amazing children and my beautiful wife Tyree. I love serving the people of Douglas County!
